Journey to the National Gallery
On we went to the National Gallery to have a learning journey, significantly lasted longer than last time. The weather was sunny, we took a walk around the several museums, listening to the groups introducing the history about the museums. Some I can hear clearly, some I cannot.Unfortunately we didn't go into the museums and we were forced to do an interview with tourists. This time Jingxuan was lucky, the first group she interviewed cooperated with her fluently. Although the first interview took us so much time that the other three of us didn't have time to do ours.
After lunch we went straight to the National Gallery. The gallery was quite big with so many paintings on the walls that I couldn't manage to look through all of them.I picked out three of them.

This is a painting by Georgette Chen, who was born in Paris and married a man 31 years older than her when she was 24.
24 years later, she moved to Singapore and settled down. It's a self-portrait, showing her looking asquint at something.Although the color is not so delicate, the expression on her face is still vivid.
This picture is the smoothest one of the three, drawn by Chua Mia Tee, also a Chinese-born Singaporean painter. He was awarded the Cultural Medallion in 2015.In this painting is a lateral portrayal of a girl, I was thinking that maybe this was his daughter. The lights and shades are controlled very well, making me want to stare at it for a long time.
After walking around in the gallery, we went up to the top floor.Somehow the cloud made the view beautiful than I expected.I must say that the whole design of the building is concise.Too bad I had to do the interview, considering so many experiences of failure.I asked so many people and finally succeeded.
