On Sunday Rongchen took me to the National Library to experience studying there,I must say it does let you concentrate on your studies. After that he invited me to have lunch in a hotpot restaurant, but unfortunately it wasn't found by us eventually. However, we did find something interesting in front of a theatre, which was either a model or a real BMW 850Li.What a handsome car.
Oops, a little digressed from the topic. Anyway, we just walked around and ended up in a western restaurant which was expensive compared to previous ones.
The first dish we had was Satay Kebab. It looked like chicken but it was actually not meat. But it tasted good.Precisely, it tasted like tofu but harder to chew, and that felling was quite lovely. So I'm not gonna struggle with wether it should be meat.In the picture shown were only 3 pieces, but actually there were right when served.
Single cost:15.
The second dish was the main dish, called Spaghetti With Seafood. This was the dish I wanted to compliment most. Firstly, the temperature was controlled well by the cook, so that it was always warm but not hot when I ate it.There were also some octopus and shrimps in it. Except for that, this might be the best Italian sauce I had ever had, because it tasted a bit sweet and a little sour. It was hard to describe that taste so if you have a chance, it is worthwhile to have a try.
Single cost: 18.
Then I guess the last thing was the drink. It was called lychee water. As you could see from the picture, the water was transparent and gave you the stimulus to gulp it down. When the water streamed down my throat, it greatly assuaged the spiciness and enabled me to continue to eat. Thanks to that, I could eat more like a pig.
In general, this was a delightful trip and my final rate is four stars, for the enthusiastic waiter and ambrosial taste. What dragged it down was the outrageous price.
